„ P n c -r ry
Foodservice/Food Packaging
103
The blue wash water analytical indicate that copper levels were found to be 296 mg/kg. No
STLC test results were observed during the inspection. Immediately locate a copy of the waste
analysis conducted for the blue wash water waste and submit a copy to the EHD.
Response: Analytical results viewed during the inspection were not of the correct waste
stream. The correct analysis taken in 2015 is included in Attachment 3. Since TTLC levels
were not above STLC thresholds, no STLC analysis were ran.
114
On March 26, 2018, 20 gallons of an ammonia/water mixture was discharged to the ground.
No disposal records for the waste were found on-site during the inspection.
Pactiv Response: Disposal records are included in Attachment 4.
Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for used oil from the forklifts were not found on site.
Pactiv Response: Historically, when the Watts technicians came out to service Pactiv
forklifts, they brought any used oil and filters back to their location for storage and
disposal. Watts does not separate Pactiv used oil and oil filters from other customers used
oil as it is consolidated onsite and then sent for disposal. Watts does keep all disposal
records (manifests) for three years at their facility. For all future forklift maintenance activity
by Watts, Pactiv will retain the used oil and drained used oil filters on-site for disposal and
keep disposal records for 3 years.
Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for used undrained oil filters for the forklifts were
not found on-site.
Pactiv Response: See response above.
117
Annual training has not been given to all employees. Immediately provide employees with the
refresher hazardous waste training. Submit a copy of the roster to EHD once training has been
completed.
Response: Proper training was given in November 2018. Training records are included in
Attachment 5.
118
Employee training records for the management of hazardous waste were incomplete. Submit
all of the applicable job descriptions for each position to the EHD for review.
Response: This information is included in Attachment 5 (see response above).
