According to <br />the corporate manager, Mr. Rogers, the sample underwent STLC testing. No STLC test results were observed <br />during the inspection. <br />This waste is being disposed of as non -hazardous waste. A generator shall make a hazardous waste determination <br />and keep a record of any test results, waste analyses, or other determinations made in accordance with hazardous <br />waste regulations for at least three years from the date that the waste was last disposed of. Immediately locate a <br />copy of the waste analysis conducted for the blue wash water waste and submit a copy to the EHD. If a copy is <br />unavailable, immediately make a hazardous waste determination and begin managing the blue wash water waste <br />under Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />114 <br />CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br />On March 26, 2018, 20 gallons of an ammonia/water mixture from the auto viscometer on the BHS press was <br />discharged onto the ground. A hazardous spill team was called to clean up the waste. No disposal records for the <br />waste were found on site during the inspection. <br />Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for used oil from the forklifts were not found on site. According to the <br />manager, Watts services the forklifts and takes the used oil back with them. If the used oil is not being disposed of <br />on a uniform manifest or a consolidated manifest, the following documentation needs to be kept for each facility to <br />show that the repair business is following California Health and Safety Code Section 25250.12 under Article 13 of <br />Management of Used Oil.- <br />il:-The <br />-Theamount of used oil generated showing that no more than 55 gallons is transferred in the vehicle at any one <br />time. <br />-The address information on where used oil is being transported to. <br />-The date the used oil is generated. <br />Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for used undrained oil filters for the forklifts were not found on site. <br />According to invoice 4304978 (9/17/2018), hydraulic filter waste waste was generated. Per Title 22 California Code <br />of Regulations (CCR) 66266.130, oil filters that are not completely drained need to be managed as hazardous <br />waste. If the oil filters are not going to be drained, immediately start to dispose of them properly according to <br />hazardous waste rules and regulations. <br />Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility on site for three <br />years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests for the last three years, <br />maintain them on site, and submit copies of the missing disposal records to the EHD.
