Contractor to remove the filter manifold, saving the filter valves and <br /> connecting 2"plumbing. <br /> PART III. STAINLESS STEEL GUTTER <br /> A. General: Provide and install a stainless steel perimeter gutter system(see <br /> plan) around the entire pool perimeter. <br /> Gutter wall shall be constructed of 12 gauge, 304 low carbon Stainless Steel. All <br /> hardware shall be of like material. <br /> All rope hooks shall be constructed of 304 low carbon stainless steel and be of no <br /> less than 3/8" solid, round bar. See plan for location of recessed anchors. <br /> Additional anchors are required for floating water polo goals and safety lane rope <br /> hooks. <br /> Gutter shall be secured to the bond beam via stainless steel concrete anchors, <br /> connecting to 304 low carbon Stainless Steel support angles. Anchors and <br /> anchors shall be installed every four(4) feet on center. <br /> The gutter shall be leveled and made plum to within 1/16`" of an inch throughout <br /> the entire pool. <br /> The gutter return chamber shall be drilled every 4 feet on center in the 45 degree <br /> gutter section with a 3/8" hole. All holes shall be carefully de-burred to eliminate <br /> all sharp edges. <br /> Each gutter section shall be manufactured in ten (10) foot lengths and welded <br /> together on site using ASA standards for welding stainless steel. All welded <br /> seams shall be smooth. After welding and securing the entire gutter the installer <br /> shall pressure test the return chamber with 5 PSI water for 24 hours. The gutter <br /> shall be filled with water and static water level test be made for 24 hours prior to <br /> the installation of grout. <br /> Gutter finish shall be a#3 or#4 polished finish. <br /> 4 <br />
