ILInstallatic-1, Guide: AdvanTexT'"-Treatment Systems
SteA 1
Determining Positions of the Processing Tank and AdvanTex Filter
Step 1 A: Sketching System Position
Sketch exact positions of the Processing Tank and AdvanTex Filter on the site. The textile filter can be
placed in several different positions in relation to the processing tank. Before determining which posi-
tion is best, look to see how the Filtrate Return Line needs to be run. Note that the 2" diameter outlet
coupling for the Filtrate Return Line is permanently installed in one corner of the AdvanTex Filter. The
pump transport pipe penetrates the AdvanTex Filter through a field-installed grommet. This grommet
can be installed in one of two corners of the AdvanTex Filter. Use a 1-9116" hole saw to drill the
grommet hole.
j
Typically, it is best to place the AdvanTex filter so that the Filtrate Return Line can be plumbed as
easily as possible, since this line has a slope requirement.
Processing Tank
AFAL
Clean Out
ROY AdvanTex
Fitter
Houde.
Pump
Control Package
Panel
Out to
Discharge
Note.During installation, provide measurements to critical buried elements
Sample sketch of a Mode 3 configuration system layout
EIM-ATX•AX-1
Rev 1-48/01 ©1001 Orenco Systems' Inc.
Information subject to change without notice
