In the 1975 photo, a new structure or feed pile can be seen on the east side of
the building cluster on the north side of the Site. Several long buildings (possibly
a poultry farm) can be seen to the north of the Site. No other significant changes
are apparent.
In the 2003 photo, a natural gas facility can be seen on the east side of the Site.
The building cluster area now appears to be a cattle facility, as does the adjacent
building cluster on the portion of parcel -46 that is not part of the current Site. A
parcel to the east of the Site now appears to be a vineyard.
In the 2010 photo, the cattle yard area on the Site appears to have been
expanded. An additional parcel to the south appears to be a vineyard. No other
significant changes are apparent.
In the 2019 photo, no significant changes are apparent.
These photos are included as Appendix 3 of this report.
4.0 SITE INSPECTION
Live Oak inspected the Site on December 31, 2020. Photographs of the Site are
attached to this report as Appendix 2. Live Oak inspected the northern property
line, the central field road, and the area surrounding the structures, as well as the
outer north, west, and east sides of the natural gas separator facility. Due to wet
conditions following a rain, no further inspection was possible. The natural gas
separator facility was gated and marked "no trespassing;" Live Oak did not enter.
The Site consists of open agricultural land and a young vineyard. A pole barn, a
small house, a modular home, and a domestic well were located near the
northeast corner of the Site. Most structures related to the former dairy had been
removed, and the cattle yards had been leveled and disked. A natural gas
separator facility was located on the east side of the Site.
An irrigation well was observed to the west of the separator facility. A tractor with
a plastic spray tank was observed near the irrigation well. A second well was
located near the center of the southern half of the property. An irrigation canal
and pump were present on the east side of Parcel -13 of the Site. A second
pump and canal were visible on the western side of the Site; it was unclear
whether they were located on or adjacent to the Site, and they could not be
accessed due to wet conditions.
A total of 13 pole-mounted transformers were observed on the Site. Five of
these were marked with stickers indicating they are free of polychlorinated
biphenyls.
LOGE 20-61 3
