The adjacent properties to the north of the Site were vineyards and what
appeared to be a poultry facility. To the west were vineyards, orchard, and rural
residences. To the east were vineyards and agricultural land. To the south were
vineyards.
5.0 INTERVIEWS
5.1 Interview with Client
Camillo Leventini, one of the owners of the Site, was interviewed during the site
inspection on December 31, 2020. He indicated that the property has been in his
family since the 1940s or 1950s. The Site has been used in the past as a dairy,
he said; the fields have been used for corn and pasture. Mr. Leventini stated
that, until last year, the Site was leased to John Faria, who operated the dairy on
the Site for more than 18 years. Many of the dairy structures were recently
removed from the Site, he said.
Mr. Leventini stated that a mobile fuel tank was in use, and Mr. Faria may have
maintained above-ground tanks on the Site. He had no knowledge of any
chemical storage areas on the Site.
Regarding the houses on the Site, Mr. Leventini stated that the small house was
around 100 years old; he believed it had been moved from Peltier Road at some
point in the past. The house will be demolished in the near future, he said. The
modular home is in the process of being permanently placed on the Site, he
stated. Mr. Leventini indicated that one of the irrigation wells was drilled last
year. He did not know the age of the domestic well but said that it was quite old.
Mr. Leventini stated that he has no involvement in the gas separator facility on
the Site, operated by Lodi Gas Storage.
Mr. Leventini was not aware of any underground fuel tanks, chemical storage,
dumping of hazardous materials, or trash burial on the Site.

6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS

6.1 Environmental Health Department Records
Hazardous Materials Records
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted
regarding the Site addresses of 8458, 8450, and 8200 East Jahant Road and
23110 North Dustin Road, Acampo. Laura Sauers of that office indicated that no
LOGE 20-61 4
