• Whenever the employcc's responsibilities or designated actions under the Plan <br /> change. <br /> • Whenever the Plan is changed. <br /> • For transferred or promoted employees If the job change includes a change in <br /> hazards, emergency duties or emergency escape routes. <br /> • When new equipment c)r aviterials are introduced that could affect the,response III <br /> an emergency. <br /> • When a fire drill or anything else indicates that employee performance needs <br /> improvement. <br /> • Whenever required by an OSHA standard or recommended or requimd by <br /> applicable authorities or insurance carriers. <br /> Training will �y <br /> I include the potential by of the emplo ees'jobs that could be involved <br /> in an emergency situation, the omorgency response procedures called for in our <br /> emergency action plan, and those pets of the Plan which the employee must-know in <br /> order to protect himself/herself in the event of an emergency. <br /> Because immediate, informed response is essential in an emergency, all persoilnel on <br /> the premises and others entering it (visitors., contractors, offshe emergency rc;aponso <br /> groups, other agency representatives) must have some level of emergency training. <br /> We have put into effect a training program that will: <br /> * Relate directly to anticipated situations <br /> * Be brief and repeated often <br /> * Be realistic and practical <br /> * Provide an opportunity for special skills to be practiced regularly <br /> * Feature frequent drills (e.g., site-specific mock rescue operations)* Acquaint <br /> everyone with the appropriate ornergency escape routes and procedures <br /> * Ensure that training records are maintained. <br /> Everyone entering the site will be made aware of the hazards that could create the need for <br /> emergency action, and the hazardous actions that are forbidden or should be avoided <br /> smoking), as well as what to do in case of an emergency.
