Marlowe Page 3 <br />05/07/93 2120 Wilcox well was sampled without PHS/EHD inspection; no contaminants <br />detected. WEST results, Attachment 6. <br />PHS/EHD correspondence to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board (CVRWQCB) to inform them that halogenated volatile organic <br />compounds have been detected in the Marlowe Well and to request that they <br />notify PHS/EHD as soon as possible what action the CVRWQCB will take. <br />05/10/93 PHS/EHD correspondence to Marlowe following up the May 6, 1993 <br />conversation regarding his options to abate the violations of the California <br />Code of Regulations. (Exhibit #2) <br />05/14/93 PHS/EHD sampled the neighboring domestic well at 4716 Waterloo; <br />contaminants detected. FGL results, Attachment 7. <br />PHS/EHD correspondence to Marlowe indicated that the CVRWQCB had <br />requested that PHS/EHD assume responsibility for oversight. PHS/EHD <br />indicated that program initiation costs be submitted and that PHS/EHD will <br />be forwarding invoices for the cost of sampling neighboring domestic wells for <br />payment. (Exhibit #3) <br />06/04/93 PHS/EHD sampled the following domestic wells: 4514 Waterloo; no <br />contaminants detected, 4716 Waterloo; contaminants detected, and 2120 <br />Wilcox; no contaminants detected. FGL results, Attachment 8. <br />06/09/93 PHS/EHD correspondence to Archie Baumback to inform him that the well <br />located on his property at 4716 Waterloo (State Route 88) was contaminated. <br />(Exhibit #4) <br />07/14/93 PHS/EHD forwarded analytical results to the following property owners: <br />Larry Moorman, 2120 Wilcox, No contaminants detected. <br />Antoinette Budiselich, 4514 Waterloo, No contaminants detected. <br />Archey Baumbach, 4716 Waterloo, Contaminants detected. <br />08/06/93 PHS/EHD correspondence requested permission to sample the well located <br />at 2817 Cherryland. No response from property owner. Subsequently, the <br />property manager has granted permission. <br />08/19/93 PHS/EHD correspondence requested permission to sample the well located <br />at 4932 Waterloo. No response from property owner. The letter was <br />returned which indicated that the property owner was deceased. <br />Subsequently, a site visit was made. No one was at home. A card was left, <br />however, there as been no response from the property owner.
