In
addition, property fencelines are
notorious locations for the use of
pesticides/herbicides. The grab
groundwater samples collected from
these borings will be used to asses if
there are regional impacts, including
the Koppel site and historical USTs,
which may be impacting the
groundwater underlying the Site.
The laboratory analyses listed in Table 1 are to be performed using the following United
States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methods:
Gasoline range organics, BTEX and methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) using
EPA Method 8260B
Diesel range organics (DRO) and motor oil range organics (MRO) using
EPA Method 8015B, and prepared with silica gel cleanup prior to analysis.
California Title 22 metals using EPA Method 6010B/7471A
Organochlorine Pesticides using EPA Method 8081A
Organochlorine Herbicides using EPA Method 8151
pH using EPA Method 9045C (soil only; groundwater pH will be determined
using a field meter)
Nitrate as nitrogen using EPA Method 300.0
P:11350001135531-USBDG Phase II InvesTinal Documents1Final REG Phase ll Work Plan 052808.docIdt
