Harney Lane Landfill
ft
I
PRIOR INDETERNINATES FOUND IN COMPLIANCE
Section 17667 - Water Supply
The operator and the LEA have reported that the water available
for site personnel is in conformance with drinking water
standards.
Section 17705 - Gas Control
The facility was surveyed for gas by CWMB staff on October 1,
1987, and was found in compliance with the gas standard at that
time.
CORRECTIONS IMPLEMENTED
Section 17679 - Final Site Face
The slope of the "final" site face at the northwest corner of the
site had been regraded to meet the requirements of this section
of the code. The closure plan for the facility addresses final
grade for the entire site, which will meet the requirements of
this section of the code and the Waste Discharge Requirements
from the RWQCB.
Section 17691 - Removal
The collection and storage of used motor oil has been
discontinued.
CONCLUSION
Although the site is not currently in compliance with all state
standards there has been good progress at addressing noted
problems. The operator has been very responsive in taking care
of immediate operational items. The remaining discrepancies have
been incorporated into the submitted operational phasing plan and
will achieve correction as the various milestones of that plan
are passed.
original
81gued bys
Waste Management Specialist
