Box 1810
Stockton, CA 95302
HARNEY LANE LANDFILL COMPLIANCE INSPECTION, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (Case No. 2598)
Harney Lane Landfill was inspected on 18 December 1987. The enclosed inspection
report indicates that three waste discharge requirements violations were observed.
These violations relate to inadequate drainage and ponding water.
On the day of the inspection we both agreed that any major modifications of the
drainage system can only be accomplished when the site has dried enough to allow
equipment access. Therefore, with the mild winter we have experienced, all
drainage modifications and corrections should be accomplished or 'nearing comple-
tion.
To ensure that the drainage modifications and ponding water correction have been
m-ade, I request a report of corrective actions be submitted to me not later than
1 May 1988.
If you require any additional information, please contact me at (916) 361-5736.
LJ
MICHAEL H.
