Monitoring results will be presented in the form of a report to the
Local Enforcement Agency within 90 days of the sampling event. The
report will include the following items:
1) Concentration of methane measured at each probe.
2) Concentrations of trace gases when required.
3) The documentation of date, time, barometric pressure,
general weather conditions, and probe pressures.
4) The names of sampling personnel, apparatus used, and
description of the methods used.
VI. EQUIPMENT - QA/QC
Monitoring will be accomplished using industry standard portable
sampling equipment. Wells will be monitored for methane only
unless otherwise specified by the LEA, the RWQCB, and/or the CIWMB.
A Quality Assurance, Quality Control (QA/QC) program will be
provided by the consultant performing the monitoring, and it will
be included in the monitoring reports.
VII. SCHEDULE
This plan is being submitted to the LEA for approval. Upon
approval of the plan, the County will begin the proces necessary
to install the Landfill Gas Monitoring System. The LEA is to issue
a Notice an Order which will establish an exact deadline date for
installation of the system. It is expected that the system can be
in place and operational in the spring of 1991. Monitoring will
begin as soon as the system is operational.
8
