3.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The following scope of work is proposed to be conducted to achieve the objectives of this phase <br /> of the project: <br /> • Install up to ten (10) soil borings to a maximum depth of 10 feet each using a GeoProbe <br /> drilling rig. <br /> • Collect representative soil samples from each of the soil borings. <br /> • Submit up to 10 soil samples to a certified analytical laboratory for analysis of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons using approved methodologies. <br /> • Prepare a Phase H Soil Investigation Report at the conclusion of the project. <br /> 4.0 PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 4.1 Project Manager <br /> Mr. Glen T. White will be assigned as project manager who will be responsible for the overall <br /> performance and compliance with applicable regulations, and the Health and Safety Plan <br /> guidelines. <br /> 4.2 Site Health and Safety Officer <br /> Mr. Glen T. White will be assigned as Health and Safety Officer who will be responsible for the <br /> on-site Health and Safety procedural guidelines compliance. This individual has the authority to <br /> stop on-site work due to safety infractions, and can upgrade the safety requirements based on his <br /> judgment. The Health and Safety Officer will fill out and maintain all records, checklists, and <br /> logs, and will keep a copy of this plan at the site. Due to the small size of this project the Project <br /> Manager will serve as the Health and Safety Officer. <br /> American Geological Services, Inc. <br /> 3 <br />
