Health and Safety Plan, Subsurface Investigation <br />Potential New Court Site, Stockton, California <br />2.6 On-site Personnel and Visitors <br />Each person (Earth Tech or subcontractor employee) is responsible for his/her own health and safety, for <br />completing assigned tasks in a safe manner, and for reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to his/her <br />supervisor and/or the FM/SSO. All personnel are responsible for continuous adherence to the specified <br />health and safety procedures during the performance of their work. No person may work in a manner that <br />conflict with the letter or intent of safety and environmental precautions expressed in these procedures. <br />After due warnings, Earth Tech will dismiss from the work site any person who violates safety <br />procedures. Earth Tech employees are subject to progressive discipline and may be terminated for <br />blatant or continued violations. <br />All personnel working for Earth Tech and its subcontractors are required to read and acknowledge their <br />understanding of the HASP and any other applicable SH&E documentation. All visitors to controlled <br />work areas of any project site must likewise read and acknowledge their understanding of the applicable <br />SH&E requirements. All personnel are expected to abide by all written safety requirements and any <br />supplementary instructions communicated by the FM/SSO, and cooperate with supervisory personnel to <br />ensure a safe and healthful work site. Site personnel are required to report immediately any of the <br />following to the FM: <br />Accidents and injuries, no matter how minor <br />Unexpected or uncontrolled releases of any hazardous substances <br />Any symptoms of exposure to a hazardous substance <br />Any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment <br />Any changes in site conditions that may affect the health or safety of project personnel. <br />Unauthorized visitors, and visitors not meeting the specified qualifications, will not be permitted <br />within established controlled work areas. <br />Project 104290.19.01 7 January 2009
