Health and Safety Plan, Subsurface Investigation <br />Potential New Court Site, Stockton, California <br /> <br />6.5 Decontamination Activities <br />All requirements for performing personal and equipment decontamination may be found in Earth Tech <br />Environmental Practice Standard SH&E 604, Decontamination (see Attachment B). <br /> <br />7.0 EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN <br /> <br />7.1 General <br />Although the potential for an emergency to occur is remote, contingency planning has been accomplished <br />should such critical situations arise. Types of emergencies, which could occur include: <br />Medical Emergency (all injuries, including chemical exposure); and <br />Safety Equipment Problem. <br /> <br />7.2 Responsibilities <br />7.2.1 Health and Safety Professional <br />The SH&EP will designate an emergency medical treatment facility in proximity to each work site, as <br />well as a listing of emergency contact information regarding community response resources, Earth Tech <br />contacts, etc. <br />7.2.2 Field Manager/Site Safety Officer <br />The FM/SSO will be the primary contact and coordinator of all emergency activities. The FM/SSO will <br />be responsible for: <br />Evaluating the severity of the emergency; <br />Implementing the appropriate response action; and <br />Summoning community response resources (e.g., ambulance). <br />Project 104290.19.01 22 January 2009
