JSA 22: OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE (REMEDIATION SYSTEMS) March 30, 2010 • <br />Field staff must review job-specific work plan and coordinate with project manager to verify that all up-front logistics are completed prior to starting work including, but not limited to, <br />permitting, access agreements, and notification to required contacts (e.g. site managers, inspectors, clients, subcontractors, etc.). A tailgate safety meeting must be performed and <br />documented at the beginning of each workday. Weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, lightning) must also be considered. <br />0 Job Steps 0 Personal Protective Equipment 0 Potential Hazard 0 Critical Actions/Precautions <br />Clean site/demobilize Wear reflective vest for traffic, steel toed <br />and shank shoes, hardhat, safety <br />glasses with side shields, and leather <br />gloves as necessary. <br />Traffic hazard. <br />Lifting hazards. <br />Use buddy system as necessary to remove traffic guidance and control <br />equipment. <br />Use proper lifting techniques. <br />Leave site clean of refuse and debris. <br />Notify station personnel of departure and location of any stored waste. <br />Package and deliver <br />samples to lab <br />Bottle breakage. <br />Back strain. <br />Handle and pack bottles carefully (bubble wrap bags are helpful). <br />Use proper lifting techniques. <br />Paper copies are uncontrolled and are valid only at the time of printing.
