Waterloo Food and Fuel 2- 11 June 2012
3032 E. Waterloo Rd., Stockton
San Joaquin County
Total TPH mass removed since May 2003 was 14,178.3 lbs. A report will be submitted after
completion of all of the above work.
I concur to the Workplan Addendum recommendations as appropriate and necessary to continue
TPH removal in a cost effective manner. The new extraction well will increase plume capture prior to
groundwater exiting the site, and the pre-treatment upgrade is designed to optimize the existing
groundwater pump and treatment system. Similar pre-treatment systems with ozone bubbling tanks
at two GWPT systems in Sutter County have resulted in significant reductions in influent
concentrations prior to GAO treatment, resulting in extended life of the GAO units and reduced
maintenance costs.
Please provide a schedule for the fieldwork by 30 July 2012. The report may be included as an
appendix in the third quarter 2012 semi-annual monitoring report, which is due 30 October 2012.
You may contact me with questions either by phone at (916) 464-4615 or by
e-mail at jbarton©waterboards.ca.gov .
/James L.L.
