MacArthur Dr., Tracy
This letter is in reply to your request to this office on October 20, 1999 requesting removal of
Conditions "H" and "I". A copy of the Triple E Produce Facility Groundwater Monitoring
Report - Third Quarter 1998, prepared by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc was provided with
your letter.
This office contacted Joe Mello of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board. He
stated that the plume is limited to the north side of Line Road. The plume extends 1200' to
1500' north of Linne Road and is located to the west of Apricot Lane.
Because a chloroform plume does exist in this area, this department cannot support the removal
of these conditions at this time. To remove these conditions a letter from the California Regional
Water Quality Control Board, addressed to this department, stating that the plume has
diminished below any action levels is required.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, contact Johnny Yoakum, E.H.S. of my staff at
(209) 468-3147.
Karen Furst M.D., M.P.H.
Health Officer
MH:jy
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
