03 June 2021 <br />Project No. 21-6431 <br />Page 3 of 15 <br />An <br />system and leach field (filter bed) extend to the northwest of the residence and are located <br />over 100 feet away from the onsite domestic water well (Figure 2; Appendix B). <br />The proposed septic system is planned to be installed in the northwestern area of the <br />subject property (Figure 2). The proposed septic system will consist, at a minimum of a <br />1,200 -gallon septic tank with two compartments and a 1,000 -square foot filter bed. The <br />septic system will be connected to the two-bedroom modular home planned to be <br />developed on the property and will be utilized 365 days a year. <br />3.1. EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br />The septic system servicing the existing residential structure (house) consists of a 1,600 - <br />gallon septic tank with two compartments, two 85 -foot -long leach lines, one 40 -foot leach <br />line added after the original system was installed, and two 36 -inch diameter, 25 -foot -deep <br />seepage pits. The septic tank and filter bed are located to the west of the structure on the <br />property. The system is permitted for a four-bedroom house and is utilized 365 days/year <br />(Appendix B). <br />3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br />One liquid wastewater septic permit is on record at the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD). EHD permit 88-1320 dated May 1988 is on <br />record for 6055 Garnica Court, Stockton, California for installation of a new residential <br />septic system consisting of a 1,600 -gallon septic tank with two compartments, two 85 - <br />foot -long leach lines, and two 36 -inch diameter, 25 -foot -deep seepage pits. (Appendix B). <br />3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br />One wastewater repair permit is on file at the EHD. EHD permit SR0061837 dated <br />January 2011 is on record for 6055 Garnica Court, Stockton, California for the installation <br />of an additional 40 -foot leach line. <br />3.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA <br />Neighboring properties are zoned for residential land use. Several liquid waste permits <br />are on record at the EHD for installation of septic systems surrounding the subject <br />property. <br />
