• Be aware of employees with special needs who may require assistance.
• Utilize the buddy system.
• Avoid hazardous areas during an emergency evacuation.
Frontline supervisors must be aware of the locations where employees are working on any given
day as well as suppliers, customers, and other non-employees on the premises. They must also
be aware of who is absent or otherwise away from the premises. Accounting for employees and
non-employees will aid local responding fire/rescue departments in determining whether rescue
efforts are necessary.
Headcount results must be provided to the first responders and/or emergency personnel upon their
arrival.
Other duties provided by the trained personnel during an emergency evacuation include the
following:
• No employees are to return to the buildings until advised by the Director of Safety (or
designate).
• If anyone is injured or contaminated, the Plan Administrator will activate rescue and first aid
actions.
• If an emergency incident expands, the EAP Administrator may send employees home by
normal means or provide them with transportation to an offsite location.
Non-Evacuation Emergency Procedures
The French Camp Yard has in place the following non-evacuation procedures:
• Medical Emergencies
If anyone is injured or contaminated, the on-site manager or supervisor (or Julio Velasquez) will
activate rescue and first aid actions.
Critical Operations
The French Camp Yard has no critical operations that cannot be shut down for emergencies. To
manage the responsibilities of notifying all personnel who are already out on the field, and to avoid
having up-coming drivers arrive in an unsafe area, the following employees will remain behind to
keep the proper communication flow intact.
The employees who are designated to remain behind during evacuation to care for critical
operations include the following:
Name Title
Stacey Burks Safety Manager
Albert Perez Account Manager
Devinder Walia Road Manager
Mike Hegedus General Manager
The procedures to be taken by these employees include the following:
• Update Executive Management on Status.
• Ensure safety of all employees.
• Ensure safety of all vehicles.
Page 5
