INSULATING FLUID CLEANUP REQUIREMENTS <br /> Specific Cleanup Procedure <br /> 1. Confine free-flowing fluid and barricade affected area. <br /> 2. Call Utility Operator and notify Supervisor. <br /> 3. If the spill poses a substantial risk to human health or the environment <br /> (such as people in direct and uncontrolled contact, spillage into drainage <br /> systems or water), report the spill to the U.S. Coast Guard National <br /> Response Center at (800) 424-8802. <br /> 4. Obtain insulating fluid spill cleanup kit, wear protective clothing and <br /> proceed with cleanup. <br /> 5. Cleanup all free insulating fluid; wipe with dry rags the surfaces of <br /> structures, poles, concrete, asphalt, vegetation, trees and lawns. <br /> 6. Scrub contaminated surfaces thoroughly with solvent and then wipe with <br /> dry rags. <br /> 7. Remove contaminated branches, leaves, lawns and vegetation. <br /> 8. Remove contaminated soil- <br /> 7 <br />
