SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br />Section 00800 <br />15-1207 <br />§6.1.1 The Owner reserves the right to perform construction or operations related to the Project <br />with the Owner's own forces and to award separate contracts in connection with other <br />portions of the project or other construction or operations on site. If the Contractor <br />claims that delay or additional cost is involved because of such action the Contractor <br />shall make such claim as provided in Article 15. <br />§6.1.2 DELETE this paragraph in its entirety and SUBSTITUTE the following: <br />§6.1.2 When separate contracts are awarded for different "trades" or "portions" of other <br />construction or operations on the site, the term "contractor" in the contract documents in <br />each case shall mean the Contractor who executes each separate Owner -Contractor, <br />general construction Contract. <br />§6.3 OWNER'S RIGHT TO CLEAN UP, DELETE this section in its entirety and SUBSTITUTE the <br />following: <br />§6.3 OWNER'S RIGHT TO CLEAN UP <br />Should a dispute arise among the contractor, separate contractors and the Owner as to <br />the responsibility under their respective contracts for clean-up as required under Article 3 <br />above, the Owner may clean up and the Owner in consultation with the Architect, will <br />allocate the cost among those responsible. <br />ARTICLE 7 CHANGES IN THE WORK <br />§7.1 GENERAL, ADD the following paragraphs: <br />§7.1.4 The Owner, before the date of acceptance of the Work, may order changes, including <br />additions, deletions, or alterations in the Work (called "Construction Change Documents <br />(CCD)"), and may order extra materials and extra work in connection with the <br />performance of the Contract, and Contractor shall promptly comply with such orders. <br />§7.1.5 Contractor shall perform work required in a Construction Change Document (CCD) in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents, except to the extent changed by the CCD. <br />CCD's involving changes to the drawings or Specifications must be approved by the <br />Architect, DSA, Local Fire Authority, Health Department or other authorities as <br />applicable having jurisdiction over the Project, to the extent required by law. <br />§7.2 CHANGE ORDERS, ADD the following paragraphs: <br />§7.2.2 No change in the Contract shall be performed or change made unless in pursuance of a <br />written Change Order from the Owner, signed by the Owner, Contractor and Architect <br />stating that the extra work or change is authorized, and no claim for an addition to the <br />contract sum or contract period shall be valid unless the extra work or change is so <br />ordered. <br />§7.2.3 Price adjustment: If a proposed Construction Change Document provides for an <br />adjustment in the Contract Sum, the adjustment shall be based on one of the following <br />15 <br />
