MOUNTAIN HOUSE SPECIFIC PLAN II <br />K'Nefghborhood Center <br />The 'K' Neighborhood Center jrigure 4.241 is situated at the terminus of entry collector <br />streets from Centra{ Parkway. The Neighborhood Center is primarily an east -last <br />rectangular site, with a narrow Nogg l Ebonccod Commercial area extending sDL& of the K-8 <br />school to Central Parkway. Landscape and building orienlation within the site is intended to <br />accentuate the relationship behleen Neighborhood'S to the south. and the collector street <br />entry from Central Parkway. The collector street on the eoughsoLQ side of the K-8 school <br />generally saparatas Laurer Density RasWr}llel uses to the riortharld Medium Density <br />Residential uses to the south. The lots fronting the K-3 school on this Collector street are <br />al ley-,semed. <br />Within the site. the Neighborhood Park is [orated Irnmediatefy north at the school. <br />Vehicular access and parking for the schoul is anticipated on the south side of the site. <br />The Neighborhood Comwerdal area will be separated from the adjacent homes try a <br />masonry wall and landscape buffer. <br />Sidewalks ori the adjaoetit roadways rnonneot the Neighborhood Center uses with the <br />nearby IakeJopen space trail network (see Figure 9.2: SPII Bicycle and Pedestrian <br />System). <br />V Nirighborhuod Ganlar <br />The 'L' Neighborhood Center (Figura 4.25) Is an easuwest oriented site In the center of <br />this water -oriented neighborhood. The site is rectangular on three sided with a distinctive <br />circular street along the frontage of the Neighborhood Park and the adjacent lakeslwn <br />space. Convenient pedemriao cokinections will be provided tetween Neighborhood <br />Center uses and the lakefopen space trail network (see Figure g.2' SPII Bicycle and <br />Pedestrian System). <br />Vehlcular access and parking for the school is anticipated from the Collector street along <br />the north side of the site. Land uses that are <br />permitted in the Neighborhood Centers shall be as specified by the Mountain <br />House Development Title_ <br />3Ite�n.
