No. 2-1-1245) <br />(8) The means of decontamination of any person having had bodily contact <br />with infectious waste while transporting the waste to the treatment or disposal <br />site or while handling or disposing of the waste at the site. <br />(9) A quantification of the maximum amount of infectious waste to be treat- <br />ed, storaged, or disposed of per month. <br />(c) A new or revised operation plan for treatment, storage or disposal of <br />infectious waste shall be submitted for approval to the Department or, for a <br />facility in a category specified in part (1) of subsection (a) above, by the local <br />health officer whenever there is an increase of more than 25 percent in the <br />maximum quantity of infectious waste receiving treatment, storage or disposal <br />per month by the facility or when changes are otherwise made in an existing <br />operation plan. <br />(d) Approval for acceptance of infectious waste at a treatment, storage or <br />disposal facili may be withdrawn by the Department or, for a facility in a <br />category specified in part (1) of subsection (a) above, by the local health officer <br />for noncompliance with the operation plan. <br />NOTE: Authority cited: Sections 208, 25150 and 25157.3, Health and Safety Code. Prohibition of Sale. <br />(a) On or after January 1, 1979, no person in the State of California shall <br />manufacture, formulate, package, import or receive from outside the State and <br />sell or offer for We within the State a material for use as a chemical toilet <br />additive, as indicated on a label on the container or by any other representation <br />by said person, which contains a nonbiodegradable toxic chemical substance. <br />(b) On or after January 1, 1979, no person shall sell or offer for sale at retail <br />or wholesale within the State a material for use as a chemical toilet additive, <br />as indicated on a label on the container or by any other representation relating <br />to the sale of the material, which contains a nonbiodegradable toxic chemical <br />substance. <br />llui The foregoing provisions of this section shall not prohibit a rson from <br />selling or shipping to a person outside of the State a material for use as a <br />chemical toilet additive, as indicated on a label on the container or by other <br />representation, which contains a nonbiodegradable toxic chemical substance, <br />which is manufactured, formulated, or packaged within the state or imported <br />or received from outside of the State. <br />NOTE: Authority cited: Section 25210, Health and Safety Code.
