<br /> R1-8 ZONES ; REDUCTION IN STREET SIDE YARD; USES IN THE I-PA ZONE ; YARD
<br /> REQUIREMENTS IN THE R1-U ZONE ; BUILDING INTENSITY REGULATIONS FOR THE
<br /> C-R, C-1 , C-2 , H-S , C-RC , C-M, R-M, M-1 , AND M-2 ZONES ; JUNKYARDS AND
<br /> DUMPS IN THE M-2 ZONE ; AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PRIVATE RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
<br /> THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN ORDAINS AS
<br /> FOLLOWS:
<br /> SECTION 1 Section 9-1024 , Chapter 2 , Division 1 , Title 9 ,
<br /> of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as
<br /> follows:
<br /> SECTION 9-1024 . ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES . Unless otherwise
<br /> specified, the Director of the Department of Planning and Building
<br /> Inspection shall follow the procedures outlined below in the
<br /> investigation and enforcement of violations of the Title :
<br /> (a) Notice to Comply. When it is determined by the Director of
<br /> Planning and Building Inspection that a violation of this
<br /> Title exists, all known responsible persons shall be
<br /> notified, by registered or certified mail , of the nature of
<br /> the violation. The notice shall state that those persons
<br /> responsible have thirty ( 30) calendar days in which to
<br /> correct the violation. The Director may reduce the thirty
<br /> (30) day notice time if he determines that an imminent
<br /> health, safety, or fire hazard exists.
<br /> (b) Infraction. If , after the stated period in the Notice to
<br /> Comply period, the violation still exists, the responsible
<br /> person(s) shall be guilty of an infraction, and each day or
<br /> portion thereof shall be a new and separate offense. The
<br /> Director may extend the thirty (30) day period if he deter-
<br /> mines that reasonable progress is being made in correcting
<br /> the violation. The first three (3) violations of the same
<br /> Section of this Title on the same property
<br /> pear perm shall be considered infractions and shall be
<br /> punished as follows:
<br /> ( 1 ) For the first violation a
<br /> fine of one hundred ( 100) dollars ;
