Sewage Disposal : The Lathrop County Water District is in the process of constructing sanitary sewage facilities that will connect to the City of Manteca Wastewater Treatment Facility. Construction is expected to be completed by the early summer of 1987 . This subdivision will be served by this system. Information from the Lathrop County Water District indicates that there are presently two sewer hookups per each of the existing ten lots that the applicant proposes to resubdivide . As the applicant proposes the addition of only four new par- cels, there is at present an adequate number of sewer alloca- tions available for the proposed development . Both Public Works and Local Health, as well as Section 9-9005 of the Planning Title, require public sewer for the proposed subdivision. Specific conditions of approval have been deve- loped to address sewage disposal . Drainage: The project site is in County Service Area No . 4 , which provi- des terminal drainage to the project area. In order to insure adequate drainage for the subdivision, a preliminary master storm drainage study has been prepared by the applicant ' s engineer. Final approval of the master plan by the Department of Public Works will be required prior to approval of the final map. Specific conditions of approval relative to storm drainage have been developed. Fire Protection: Fire protection will be provided by the Manteca-Lathrop Fire District, whose main station is located approximately 1/4 mile from the subdivision. Schools: The project is within the Manteca Unified School District , which is currently experiencing overcrowding. The project is subject to the payment of development fees , which will aid but not eliminate the overcrowded conditions .
