SPECIFICATIONS FOR SEWAGE LIFT STATION - (Con't) <br /> BUBBLER SYSTEM <br /> A pneumatic bubbler system shall be provided to control the operation of <br /> pumps with variations of sewage level in the wet pit. A close coupled oil- <br /> les type air compressor and storage tank shall be supplied as a complete unit <br /> to provide an adequate air supply for the pneumatic system. <br /> The pneumatic system shall include mercury tube type pressure switches <br /> with sensitive pressure elements and independent high and low adjustments <br /> for each pump capable of minimum differential of 14" of water. A pressure <br /> regulator and a gauge (0-30 P.S. I .G.) shall be provided to regulate the air <br /> supply to the pneumatic system. A push button operated air switch shall <br /> be provided for a high pressure purge of wet well bubbler line. <br /> An automatic alternator switch shall be provided to change the sequence <br /> of operations of the pumps on completion of each pumping cycle.
