<br /> <br />SP 32 <br /> <br />panelboards and controls for 208/120 Volts and forty‐eight (48”) inches for 480 Volts. <br />Attention shall be paid to the California Electrical Code Articles 110‐16 and 384‐4. <br /> <br />G. No roof penetrations allowed. Flash and counter‐flash wall penetrations. Conduits <br />passing through finished walls shall be fitted with steel escutcheon plates, chrome or <br />paint finish as needed to match existing area or as directed. Conduits which <br />penetrate floor slabs and concrete or masonry walls shall be grouted and sealed <br />watertight at penetration. <br /> <br />H. Provide fire‐stop systems consisting of a material, or combination of materials <br />installed to retain the integrity of fire resistant rated construction by maintaining an <br />effective barrier against the spread of flame, smoke and hot gases through <br />penetrations, fire resistive joints, and perimeter openings in accordance with the <br />requirements of the CBC, Fire Codes, Fire Marshal, and the Authority Having <br />Jurisdiction (AHJ). <br /> <br />I. Electrical safety codes are intended to be performed and supervised by ‘trained’ <br />personnel only. It is expected that during the execution of this work that the same <br />professional practices will be used and that only qualified technicians skilled and <br />trained in their area of expertise will perform the work. <br /> <br />J. Work shall be performed on de‐energized equipment only. Personal Protective <br />Equipment (PPE) shall be provided by the Electrical Contractor (EC) as appropriate for <br />the work being performed. PPE equipment shall comply with the requirements of <br />DOSH, OSHA, and NFPA 70E and a complete job risk assessment and strategy <br />reviewed with the employee before work begins. <br /> <br />K. All equipment shall be installed in a neat, workmanlike manner in accordance with <br />national, state, and local regulations and adopted standards with the approval of the <br />AHJ. <br /> <br />L. Electrical system tests shall be performed by a factory trained technician using the <br />manufacturer’s approved test equipment and methods. Tests shall be conducted, <br />and electrical equipment replaced until 100%. Demonstrate to the owner, engineer, <br />and the AHJ that the entire installation is complete and in proper operating condition <br />in compliance with the job intention and specifications. <br /> <br />M. Maintain a safe working environment including traffic controls and prompt removal <br />from the site all demolished, unused, and hazardous materials. All materials shall be
