Refinish and paint damaged surfaces to conform to the type, quality, and finish of the <br />surrounding surfaces. All equipment shall be left in a clean condition inside and out. <br />Clean and remove dust, dirt, grease, paint, or other marks on equipment. The site <br />shall be returned to its original condition. <br /> <br />O. The electrical contractor shall clear away all debris and excess materials accumulated <br />at the site and dispose of properly away from the site, maintaining a neat site <br />condition. Hazardous waste generated from the project must be removed and <br />disposed of in accordance with national and local rules and regulations. On <br />completion of project, Contractor shall remove all surplus materials and leave the site <br />in a broom clean condition. <br /> <br />P. The Contractor shall guarantee that all work performed will be free from all defects in <br />workmanship and materials and that all installation will provide the capacities and <br />characteristics specified. The Contractor further guarantees that if, during a period of <br />three years from the date of the certification and acceptance of the work, any such <br />defects will be paid and repaired by the contractor. <br />13‐2 PRODUCTS <br />13‐2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. All materials used on this work shall be new and conforming to the contract <br />specifications, national, and local codes. Any change/substitutions on material shall <br />be approved by the project manager before proceeding. <br /> <br />1. Metal Conduit and Tubing: <br />a. Galvanized Steel Conduit (RSC): <br />I. Standard weight, zinc coated on outside by hot dipping or <br />sherardized process, with either zinc coating or other <br />approved corrosion resistant coating on the inside. <br />II. Fittings shall be threaded steel and have a wall thickness <br />matching the conduit. Threadless fittings shall not be used. <br />Condulets and unilets shall be steel. <br />III. For indoor installations conduit connected to boxes and <br />cabinets shall be fitted with two locknuts and insulated <br />bushing ‐ O‐Z Type A.
