A holding <br /> pond, prior to discharge to the leaching fields, is advisable to remove the <br /> settleable matter prior to discharge to the leaching lines. Otherwise this <br /> material could shorten the life of the leach lines. 1he pulse discharge to <br /> the leaching system should be helpful to prolong the life of the system. <br /> Our recommendation is that a stilling basin or holding pond of adequate size <br /> be incorporated as part of the system prior to discharge to the le7h field. <br /> Robert W.
