Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105 <br />COMPLAINT ID: CO2FIRRWH Site Location: 550 W WRIGHT RD <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date Recorded by <br />10/01/2020 Gathered photos and complaint info for Lydia Baker since she will be verifying the MURO <br />cleanup on Friday, Oct. 2 because I am off that day (9/80). <br />Called Jonathan Brower, (biologist at Ag Commissioner's Office) 209-482-4295, to <br />ask if he can help me look up property owner phone number. He searched and <br />found the person listed on almond permit as manager of the property is the same <br />as the property owner: Deniwal, Ripudaman, 209-832-5796; cell number: <br />209-814-7518. <br />I called Ripudaman Den iwal and he said he no longer owns the 69 acre parcel. He <br />was unable to provide contact information. I explained why I was calling and asked <br />if he can have the new property owner call me. He told me he would forward the <br />information. <br />Discussed with Lead Senior. <br />10/01/2020 Called Alex Steele to request a copy of the analytical results for the insulating oil <br />from the incident on 9/26/20. He told me he will look through his emails and <br />forward to me. He also reported that cleanup for this spill was rescheduled to <br />Friday, October 2. <br />I called Alex Steele to let him know that I have not received the analytical lab. He <br />searched while I was on the phone and emailed me the lab report. <br />The oil sample taken by Dave Larsen resulted in ND for PCBs. <br />10/02/2020 Called Dave Larsen, 209-401-9719, confirmed excavation scheduling for <br />tomorrow, let him know i will check with him tomorrow morning on the progress to <br />determine when I should head out to the site. <br />10/03/2020 9:00 am texted and called Dave Larsen 209-401-9719 to check on the clean up <br />status. Dave indicated that they arrived onsite but the spill excavation will take <br />some time, he will let me know once he is about 1 hour from completion. <br />MURO <br />MANZO <br />MANZO <br />3:15 pm, texted Dave asking for the status update. Received a response back with <br />an indication that he is nearing completion and to head out to the site. Arrived <br />onsite, one —20 yard bin of soil was excavated from the spill area. The hole dug <br />was located immediately next to the irrigation ditch outflow and the well area. The <br />excavation measured approximately 8-10 feet in diameter and 4-5 feet in depth. <br />The soil appeared stiff and clayey in nature no staining or odor were noted. Dave <br />indicated that facility manager came by to look at it and found excavation <br />acceptable. Dave reported that they will be leaving the excavated soil onsite for <br />now and will not be backfilling the area until later in the week. The bin was closed <br />and the excavated area was secured with cones and caution tape.
