Discussed complaint with Melissa.
Completed Prop 65 and submitted to Garrett Backus, Ld Sr REHS, for review.
Generated photo log.
Received emails from Juan Armendarez, who states the responsible party
insurance company has hired Ancon Services to facilitate the spill cleanup and he
will update me once he has more information. Juan also states the absorbent
generated was placed in a drum and will be given to the cleanup contractor for
disposal, and the air fryers from the trailer were taken to All Star Heavy Haul &
Towing on 11/9/20.
Notified Arron Fountain, owner of All Star Heavy Haul & Towing, that Tracy
Material Recovery is allowed to accept the air fryers and that who ever takes the
air fryers will need to notify the facility that air fryers are being disposed. Arron
understood and agreed to provide disposal records for the air fryers.
Received an email from Jason Meehan, Ancon Services General Manager,
requesting I call him. Called Jason and left him a voice message. Received a call
back from Jason who states Ancon will USA the spill area tomorrow; the clean-up
will be scheduled to be done within the next 10 days; waste samples will be taken
to determine if the excavated soil is non-haz or non-RCRA haz; a temporary EPA
ID number will be obtained for disposal of the used absorbent generated by
CalTrans as non-RCRA haz waste.
Discussed All Star's plan to dispose of the air fryers at Tracy Material Recovery
with Elena Manzo, Ld Sr REHS. Tracy Material Recovery accepts small
appliances, according to their website. Called the facility and confirmed that they
are allowed to accept the air fryers for recycling.
Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo, Ld Sr REHS. Reviewed and revised
narrative.
Received an update from Jason Meehan (916-884-4506) of Ancon Services that
the clean-up is scheduled to begin on 11/24/20 at 7am. Jason Morgan
(916-701-3347) will be Ancon's on site point of contact.
Recorded by
FLORIDO
FLORIDO
FLORIDO
FLORIDO
FLORIDO
FLORIDO
11/19/2020 Emailed CUPA ER staff the details of this complaint, so that they may verify the FLORIDO
complaint clean-up during my absence.
5105.rpt Page 2 of 5
