Per shop <br /> technician Josey, he believe it is not oil but tire lube that got onto the soil. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the stain. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br /> Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 401 CCR 66265.171 Failed to store hazardous waste in a container that is in good condition. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste was found stored on-site in containers that are not in good condition. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum in the maintenance shop was observed to be pinched with red liquid observed on <br /> top of the drum. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Hazardous waste shall be stored in a containers that are in good condition.
