PARCEL VICINITY LOCATION MAP <br />San Joaquin County Assessor's Map Book 257 Page 24 depicts the site parcel (APN 257- <br />240-620) in the northeastern portion of the page. The parcel is bordered to the north (228- <br />130-080), south (257-240-610), and east (257-240-610) by agricultural property and to <br />the west (257-240-420) by single-family residential property. The north side of the parcel <br />is bordered by West Ripon Road. The parcel vicinity map and a satellite overview map <br />are included in Appendix A. <br />1.4. SITE MAP <br />A plan of the specific site features (i.e., structures, drives, wells, septic systems, large <br />trees, pastures, etc.) is illustrated in Figure 2. <br />2.0. PRESENT AND PAST USAGE OF SITE <br />The property is currently being used for residential purposes and has been since late <br />2006 when the current residence was constructed. Prior to residential development, the <br />property was undeveloped and was likely used for light agricultural purposes sometime <br />prior to 1985. The property is situated approximately 1.5 -miles west of the city of Ripon <br />in the south-central portion of San Joaquin County, California. <br />2.1 POTENTIAL SITE PROBLEM ASSESSMENT <br />Water supply for the property is currently provided by the existing onsite domestic water <br />well. The well is over 100 feet away from the existing septic system. The proposed septic <br />system will be installed over 100 feet away from the onsite domestic water well and all <br />surrounding water wells (Figure 2). The development of a residence and new septic <br />system will not affect water being supplied to the property. <br />3.0. EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br />The existing septic system includes a residential system located to the north of the <br />existing residential structure (Figure 2). The septic system is utilized 365 days a year by <br />the existing three-bedroom house. The existing septic system and leach field extend to <br />the north of the residence and are located over 100 feet away from the onsite domestic <br />water well (Figure 2; Appendix B). <br />
