Only trained persc,,-,el shall remove the waste from partic.,..nts' vehicles. All <br />associated collection personnel, contractors, and emergency response personnel who will be <br />handling hazardous waste are required to wear protective safety clothing including footwear, <br />eyewear and the appropriate respiratory protective equipment. <br />Emergency response equipment with personnel trained in the use of that equipment <br />will be on site at all times during the collection event. The name and phone number of the <br />emergency coordinator, alternate emergency coordinator, and the location and telephone <br />number of the local hospital with a route map shall be clearly posted at the event. <br />All incompatible wastes shall be packaged separately and prior to packaging be stored <br />in separate areas. <br />At the conclusion of the waste collection program, any areas of the collection site <br />contaminated with hazardous waste or waste residues shall be decontaminated. <br />An inventory shall be kept of all waste collected. All transportation and disposal <br />information shall be kept in accordance with hazardous waste manifest requirements. <br />A summary of the collected inventory, and amount of all fees collected shall be <br />submitted to the Department within 60 calendar days after completion of the collection <br />program. A check shall be submitted to the accounting unit of the Department of Toxic <br />Substances Control, for the amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total fees collected <br />from all participants within 60 calendar days after completion of the collection program. <br />Security shall be provided at the collection location at all times until the site has been <br />decontaminated and all waste has been removed. <br />The agency sponsor has accepted the risk for this agricultural chemical waste <br />collection program. In addition to its own liability coverage, the agency sponsor shall retain <br />on file for a period of three years, the contractor's proof of insurance, contingency plan, and <br />emergency procedures. <br />Immediately following the collection, sorting, and packaging of all waste and <br />decontamination of the site, all waste shall be properly manifested and transported by a <br />
