PROPOSAL FOR SERVICES MOUNTAIN HOUSE NEIGHBORHOODS I&J
INITIAL STUDY/MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
TASK 3. PUBLIC DRAFT IS/MND
A. Screencheck Draft IS/MND
The IS/MND team will revise the Administrative Draft of the IS/MND in response to comments
provided by County staff. We would request that specific comments be compiled into a single
consolidated and non-contradictory document by the County. If the volume or type of comments
require a greater level of effort than anticipated in the proposed budget, the IS/Nm team would
request a corresponding budget adjustment. We will provide the County with one copy of the
Screencheck Draft IS/MND.
B. Public Review Draft IS/MND
The IS/MND team will incorporate revisions and refinements to the Screencheck Draft IS/MND
based on comments received from County staff. A minimal amount of time has been allotted for
these revisions, assuming that the majority of comments will have been identified during the
review of the Administrative Draft. We will provide the County with five bound copies and one
unbound copy of the IS/MND. The Draft IS/MND will be provided in camera-ready format and
on diskettes(in WORD). If the County would prefer that we publish a specific number of
IS/MNDs,this can be done based on printing bids provided at the time of completion of the Draft
IS/MND. At this time,we assume that the County will be responsible for printing and distributing
the Draft IS/MND,but can easily adjust the scope to include this task. Given our extensive
experience in document production,we encourage the County to have us take on responsibility for
this task.
TASK 4. RESPONSES TO COMMENTS/FINAL IS/MND
A. Administrative Draft Responses to Comments/Final IS/MND
At this time,we are assuming that formal responses to comments on the Draft IS/MND will not be
necessary. Such responses were not needed for the SP II IS/MND. However, a small amount of
time has been allocated to help with responses as part of the Staff Report.
B. Mitigation Monitoring Program
As part of the Draft IS/MND,the IS/MND team will prepare a Mitigation Monitoring Program for
any significant impacts and mitigation measures identified for the Final IS/MND. The format for
this program will be similar to that used for SP II. However, for SP II,no mitigation measures
were identified,so the 1994 MEIR Mitigation Monitoring Program was added as Appendix A.
This may be the same case for Neighborhoods I and J.
07/17106 12
