1 inspection with Mr. Mindt. Mr. Williams instructed Mr. Mindt to <br />2 have the District Attorney's Office provide an Inspection <br />3 Warrant to inspect the Subject Property on June 3, 1998. <br />4 On May 281 1998, Steven Mindt and Greg Oliveira of Public <br />5 Health Services, Environmental Health Division discussed the <br />6 Bill Lane Dump case. Greg advised Mr. Mindt to only go onsite <br />7 if a warrant was issued. If no warrant was issued, Mr. Mindt <br />8 was to do a drive-by inspection from the public road. <br />9 On June 2, 1998, Steven Mindt met with Thomas Sweeso at the <br />10 road bordering the Subject property. Pictures were taken from <br />11 the road. <br />12 On June 3, 1998, Mr. Mindt performed an inspection of the <br />13 Subject Property with Brad Williams and Jerry Oberhelman of the <br />14 California Integrated Waste Management Board. Pictures were <br />15 taken of the observed violations. <br />16 On June 12, 1998, Mr. Mindt documented the following in the <br />17 Activity/Action Long of the Bill Lane Dump file: "It appears <br />18 that there is solid waste disposal on both Bill Lane and Lynch <br />19 property, as per Thomas Sweeso and Mr. Lane. See photography <br />20 from 1998 -current dumping and active soil cover at time of <br />21 inspection. California Integrated Waste Management Board is <br />22 interested in clean-up of both sites, as per Brad Williams...". <br />23 On June 23, 1998, Steven Mindt received a letter from Brad <br />24 Williams with enclosed pictures of their site -visit from June 3, <br />25 1998. Mr. Mindt also received a letter from Jerry Oberhelman, <br />26 including site visit reports and recommendations for the clean - <br />27 up of the Subject site. On June 24, 1998, Mr. Mindt added <br />28 pictures, reports and letter to the Bill Lane Dump file. <br />7 <br />
