1 On July 6, 1998, Steven Mindt drafted a new letter to <br />2 County Council and mailed it on July 16, 1998. <br />3 On July 24, 1998, Mr. Mindt mailed a certified letter dated <br />4 July 16, 1998, to Bill Lane recapping the results of the <br />5 inspection of the Subject Property that was performed on June 3, <br />6 1998. This letter informed Mr. Lane in detail that numerous <br />7 violations had been observed on his property and needed to be <br />8 corrected immediately. This certified letter was addressed to <br />9 Bill Lane at 23125 South Henry Road, Riverbank, California <br />10 95320. The Domestic Return Receipt was signed by Vince Bronzini <br />11 and was received at Environmental Health Division on July 29, <br />12 1998. <br />13 On September 1, 1998, Steven Mindt received a phone call <br />14 from Brad Williams asking for a status on the Subject Property. <br />15 Mr. Williams instructed Steven to proceed with the Notice and <br />16 Order to abate to enable the county to receive state monies to <br />17 pay for the clean-up of the Bill Lane Dump site. <br />18 On October 13, 1998, Steven Mindt sent a memo to Tom Walker <br />19 of Community Development Department requesting copies of any and <br />20 all investigations on the Subject Property for the calendar year <br />21 1998. <br />22 On October 29, 1998, Steven Mindt received a letter from <br />23 Thomas Sweeso. Mr. Sweeso stated that his district "had found <br />24 that Mr. Lane violated the District Open Burn Rule 4103." Mr. <br />25 Sweeso included copies of his agency's Investigation Report - <br />26 Complaint dated June 6, 1998, and a copy of a Fire Investigation <br />27 Report from the Escalon Consolidated Fire Protection District. <br />28 <br />8 <br />
