• Use of Tyvek Coveralls. <br />Work Zones <br />The immediate drilling area will be cordoned with the use of traffic cones and/or yellow <br />'`caution" tape. Unauthorized and unprotected individuals will be requested to remain <br />outside coned -off drilling area. <br />Work zones, including designation of an exclusion zone, a contamination reduction zone <br />and; a support zone will be established for any field activity that requires Level C <br />protection. <br />Decontamination <br />For activities requiring Level D protection, it is unlikely that decontamination beyond; <br />normal dry cleanup of equipment will be necessary. At the conclusion of each day <br />disposable gloves and coveralls will be removed and disposed of in on-site containers. <br />If Level C is required, minimum decontamination procedures associated with Level C <br />protection will be followed and established within the Contamination Reduction Zone <br />(CRZ). These procedures are the same as for Level D, but include proper personal <br />protective equipment removal followed by removal of the air -purifying respirator. <br />Decontamination will include preliminary respirator cleaning and bagging, disposal of <br />respirator cartridges and Tyvek coveralls at the end of each day and washing of boots End <br />tools prior to leaving the CRZ. Potentially contaminated protective equipment will be <br />disposed of in designated containers. <br />Waste Management <br />Soil cuttings from drilling activities, purge water, and steam cleaning rinsate will be <br />contained in a either a closed -top roll -off bin, a waste water tank supplied by a hazardous <br />waste transporter, DOT -approved drums or on 6 -mil PVC sheeting and shall be securely <br />covered with 6 -mil sheeting during wet weather period as the requested by the client. <br />Training <br />Clear Heart Drilling's personnel participating in field activities will have completed the <br />Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response 40 -hour health and safety - <br />training course (29 CFR 1910.120) and annual 8 -hour updates. Prior to each day of wozjk, <br />a meeting will be held at the Site to familiarize personnel with health and safety issues, <br />protective equipment, emergency information and supplies and to discuss special topics. <br />
