ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION <br /> COMMAND AND SUPERVISION <br /> The Court holding facilities fall under auspices of the Sheriffs Court Service Division of the San Joaquin <br /> Countv Sheriff. This division is headed by a Lieutenant. A Sergeant is responsible for the Sheriffs Court <br /> Services-Manteca holding cells. <br /> INSPECTION OF FACILITIES <br /> The holding cells shall be checked daily. This check should include. but is not limited to. the following: <br /> cleanliness. removal of any contraband. operational lighting and plumbing and overall cell condition. <br /> Notations shall be made on the appropriate check-sheet. Any conditions noted that constitute safety or <br /> any immediate problem should be immediately brought to the attention of a supervisor. <br /> KEYS <br /> A kev for each cell shall be located,at all times,on a ring. This ring will be located in the close proximity <br /> of the cells, or in possession of a deputy within the Sheriff's Court Services office or court room. <br /> CLEANLINESS OF THE HOLDING CELL , <br /> Cleaning of the facility will be the responsibility of the janitorial service employed b} the court. The <br /> sergeant will make periodic checks of the cells to ensure that they are properly maintained and cleaned. <br /> DESTROYING JAIL FACILITIES AND/OR PROPERTY (PC 606) <br /> Any damage caused to a holding cell or any equipment belonging to the San Joaquin County Sheriffs <br /> Department NNill be documented. This documentation shall include the type of damage and am witnesses <br /> to the act. The San Joaquin Counmty Sheriffs Department. Patrol Division. will be notified to prepare a <br /> crime report if required. <br /> 2 <br />
