CAD 990 794 133 y 0odification 0 ground water quality at .each monitoring well specified in Permit Condition III.2 (a) to the background value specified in Permit Condition III.2 (b) , in accordance with the statistical pro- cedures specified in Permit Condition III.5. [40 CFR 264.98(g) ] (e) If the owner or operator determines pursuant to Permit Condition III.6(d) that there is statisti- cally significant evidence of contamination for chemical parameters or hazardous constituents specified pursuant to Permit Condition III.2 (a) at any monitoring well at the compliance point, he or she must: (i) Notify the Director of this finding in writ- ing within seven days. The notification must indicate what chemical parameters or hazard- ous constituents have shown statistically significant evidence of contamination; (ii) Immediately sample the ground water in all monitoring wells and determine whether con- stituents in the list of Appendix IX of Part 264 are present, and if so, in what con- centration. (iii) For any Appendix IX compounds found in the analysis pursuant to Permit Condition III.6(e) (i) , the owner or operator may resample within one month and repeat the analysis for those compounds detected. If the results of the second analysis confirm the initial results, then these constituents will form the basis for compliance monitoring as -described in Permit-Condition III.6(g) . If the owner or operator does not resample for the compounds found pursuant to Permit Condition III.6. (e) (ii) , the hazardous con- stituents found during this initial Appendix IX analysis will form the basis for com- pliance monitoring. (iv) Within 90 days, submit to the Director an ap- plication for a permit modification to estab- lish a compliance monitoring program meeting the requirements of Section 264.99.
