CAD 990 794 133 y 0odification 0 <br /> ground water quality at .each monitoring well <br /> specified in Permit Condition III.2 (a) to the <br /> background value specified in Permit Condition <br /> III.2 (b) , in accordance with the statistical pro- <br /> cedures specified in Permit Condition III.5. [40 <br /> CFR 264.98(g) ] <br /> (e) If the owner or operator determines pursuant to <br /> Permit Condition III.6(d) that there is statisti- <br /> cally significant evidence of contamination for <br /> chemical parameters or hazardous constituents <br /> specified pursuant to Permit Condition III.2 (a) at <br /> any monitoring well at the compliance point, he <br /> or she must: <br /> (i) Notify the Director of this finding in writ- <br /> ing within seven days. The notification must <br /> indicate what chemical parameters or hazard- <br /> ous constituents have shown statistically <br /> significant evidence of contamination; <br /> (ii) Immediately sample the ground water in all <br /> monitoring wells and determine whether con- <br /> stituents in the list of Appendix IX of Part <br /> 264 are present, and if so, in what con- <br /> centration. <br /> (iii) For any Appendix IX compounds found in the <br /> analysis pursuant to Permit Condition <br /> III.6(e) (i) , the owner or operator may <br /> resample within one month and repeat the <br /> analysis for those compounds detected. If <br /> the results of the second analysis confirm <br /> the initial results, then these constituents <br /> will form the basis for compliance monitoring <br /> as -described in Permit-Condition III.6(g) . <br /> If the owner or operator does not resample <br /> for the compounds found pursuant to Permit <br /> Condition III.6. (e) (ii) , the hazardous con- <br /> stituents found during this initial Appendix <br /> IX analysis will form the basis for com- <br /> pliance monitoring. <br /> (iv) Within 90 days, submit to the Director an ap- <br /> plication for a permit modification to estab- <br /> lish a compliance monitoring program meeting <br /> the requirements of Section 264.99. The ap- <br /> plication must include the following informa- <br /> tion: <br /> 21 ' <br />
