CAD 990 794 133 Modification 0 <br /> (7) The Owner/Operator shall perform sampling and <br /> analysis quality assurance and quality con- <br /> trol in accordance with the Post Closure <br /> . Manual. <br /> (8) The Owner/Operator shall determine the <br /> lateral and vertical extent of contamination, <br /> constituents of the contamination, concentra- <br /> tions of each contaminant as necessary to at- <br /> tain compliance with the ground water protec- <br /> tion standards (background ground water <br /> quality per Permit Condition III.2 (b) or <br /> ACL's per Permit Condition III.8 during the <br /> term of this permit. <br /> (h) If the Owner/Operator determines, pursuant to Per- <br /> mit Condition III.5, there is a statistically <br /> significant increase above the background values <br /> for the parameters specified in Permit Condition <br /> III.2 (a) , he or she may demonstrate that a source <br /> other than a regulated unit caused the increase or <br /> that the increase resulted from error in sampling, <br /> analysis, or evaluation. In such cases, the <br /> Owner/Operator shall: <br /> (1) Notify the Director in writing within seven <br /> (7) days that he intends to make a demonstra- <br /> tion. (40 CFR 264.98 (g) (6) (i) ] <br /> (2) Within 90 days, submit a report to the Direc- <br /> tor which demonstrates that a source other <br /> than a regulated unit caused the increase, <br /> or that the increase resulted from error in <br /> sampling, analysis or evaluation. [40 CFR <br /> 264.98 (g) (6) (ii) ] <br /> (3) Within 90 days, submit to the Director an ap- <br /> plication for a permit modification to make <br /> any appropriate changes to the detection <br /> monitoring program at the facility.
