Complaint Investigation Summary Report #. 5105 <br />COMPLAINT ID: COPFPNNPH Site Location: 725 W ANDERSON ST, STOCKTON CA 95206 <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date <br />06/22/2022 Went out to 725 W Anderson St., Stockton CA with Elena Manzo and John Alaniz. <br />Met with the following people: John Murphy, Senior Engineering Geologist, and <br />Holly Young from the Water Boards. Andrew Taylor, Environmental Scientist, and <br />Robert Chedsey, Oil Spill Prevention Specialist, from the Department of Fish and <br />Wildlife. <br />Scott Moss from Ponder Environmental was on site collecting samples to be sent <br />out for testing. Spill report was updated by Richard Stiffler. <br />All photos taken were saved to the public drive and a photo log was created. <br />Spoke with Richard Stuffier to get clarification as to when the city of stockton was <br />first notified of the issue. The spill report lists the notification date as 6/10/2022. <br />Richard confirmed that the city of stockton was first notified on Friday 6/10/22 but <br />they were unable to get an environmental company out to the site that day. On <br />Monday 6/11/22 Encon Environmental went out to the site but did not perform any <br />clean up. Ponder Environmental was on site on Tuesday 6/14/22 and on 6/15/22 <br />Ponder Environmental began clean up. <br />Recorded by <br />GARCIA-MEJIA <br />06/24/2022 Notified Stockton Unified School District Superintendent John Ramirez, ALANIZ <br /><jramirezjr©stocktonusd.net>, of incident via email. <br />06/28/2022 Spoke with Brian Uribe of City of Stockton (209-639-7300). He notified me that GARCIA-MEJIA <br />they will be on site tomorrow morning between 7-8am to finish cleaning the storm <br />drains and wet well. He will provide me with photos once completed. <br />06/29/2022 Received a call from Brian Uribe of City of Stockton informing me that the storm GARCIA-MEJIA <br />drains were done being cleaned and they would be moving on to clean up the wet <br />well located next to the ditch. He provided me with photos of the cleanup via email. <br />06/30/2022 Received a call from Brian Uribe asking if the cleanup photos of the storm drain ALANIZ <br />emailed to the EHD was sufficient. Sent a response back saying it was. <br />07/01/2022 Received a call from Scott Moss of Ponder Environmental (209) 662-3742 GARCIA-MEJIA <br />informing me that they were close to completing clean up of the wet well next to <br />the ditch. I arrived on site and took pictures of the top of the wet well. Since it is a <br />confined space, Scott sent me photos via text of the inside of wet well. Per Scott, <br />2,400 gallons of liquid were pumped out during cleanup. <br />07/06/2022 Received an email from Richard Stiffler asking for inspection reports of several ALANIZ <br />businesses. The City of Stockton is doing an investigation to the illegal dumping. <br />Sent a reply asking what permits he needed the reports for. <br />He replied for hazardous waste and underground storage tanks. <br />Called the Stockton Unified School District Superintendent's Office to confirm they <br />received the email sent earlier for the notification of this spill. Spoke with Yvette L. <br />Cisneros, Executive Assistant IV, and she replied that the superintendent had <br />changed.
