<br /> CLARIFICATIONS
<br /> • Based on the project phasing plan,we propose an eighty day,three-phase project with a forty-five-calendar day shutdown
<br /> period.
<br /> • Per conversations with APCO,Jones Covey assumes that a swing shift schedule will be implemented to minimize delays as
<br /> night work is not feasible.
<br /> • This budget includes costs for interlocking sheet pile shoring. It also includes miscellaneous dewatering in the amount of
<br /> $15,000. No refresh rate of groundwater has been provided at time of green ink or at the time of bid. We strongly suggest
<br /> a permeability study is conducted between bid and construction, providing recharge rates to include a calculation
<br /> expressed as a gallons per minute/hour/day figure assuming a 16'x76'x19' interlocking sheet pile shored excavation.
<br /> • Based on input from our shoring contractor,we have decided not to pursue a wet set tank installation. We believe the low
<br /> permeability clay at the bottom of the excavation, in conjunction with interlocking sheets will provide a dry installation
<br /> environment.
