Assure their employees are trained in safe work practices needed to perform the <br />job. {1910.119(h)(3)(i)} <br />Assure their employees are instructed in the known potential fire, explosion, or <br />toxic release hazards related to the job and the applicable provisions of the <br />emergency action plan. {1910.119(h)(3)(ii)} <br />Document that required training has been received, and verify that employees <br />have understood the training. The following records must be maintained: the <br />identity of the employee, the date of the training, and the means used to verify <br />that the training was understood. {1910.119(h)(3)(iii)} <br />Assure their employees follow the facility safety rules and work practices. <br />{1910.119(h)(3)(iv)} {1910.119(f)(4)} <br />Advise their employees of unique hazards presented by the work they perform. <br />{1910.119(h)(3)(v)} <br />7. Periodic evaluations are provided to ensure that the training provided to contractor <br />employees by the contractor employer is equivalent to the training required for direct <br />hire employees. {1910.119(h)(2)(v)} <br />8. If any deficiencies are identified in the performance of contractor employers, appropriate <br />corrective actions are taken. {1910.119(h)(2)(v)} <br />9.
