Connect the other wires to outer terminal block screws. <br />Tighten screws. Tighten strain relief screws. Connect a <br />separate copper ground wire from the external ground <br />conductor screw to an adequate ground. Insert tab <br />of terminal block cover into slot of dryer rear panel. <br />Secure cover with hold-down screw. Now go to <br />"Venting Requirements!' <br />Optional 3-Wire Connection <br />Use for power supply cord where local codes do not permit <br />connecting cabinet-ground conductor to neutral wire. <br />1. Connect neutral ground wire <br /> 2. Connect remaining wires and <br />and neutral wire connect separate ground wire <br />Remove center terminal block screw. Remove neutral ground <br />wire from external ground conductor screw. Connect neutral <br />ground wire and the neutral wire (white or center wire) of <br />power supply cord under center terminal block screw. <br />Tighten screw. <br />Neutral wire (white or center wire) <br />Neutral ground wire <br />External ground conductor screw - Dotted <br />line shows position of NEUTRAL ground <br />wire before being moved to center terminal <br />block screw. <br />Grounding path determined by a qualified <br />electrician <br />24
