Operation <br /> WARNING <br /> Do not use this sterilizer in an explosive or oxygen-rich atmo- <br /> sphere, or where flammable anesthetics are stoned. To do so <br /> could result in an explosion or fire. <br /> Do not use this sterilizer for sterilizing volatile substances or for any <br /> purpose other than its intended design. Bums and toxic or explosive <br /> conditions could result. <br /> Clean and dry instruments before putting them into the sterilizer. <br /> Incomplete and improper cleaning of instruments will impede steriliza- <br /> tion and will result in unsterile instruments which could lead to per- <br /> sonal injury or death. <br /> If the sterilizer malfunctions, immediately unplug sterilizer. If the steril- <br /> izer continues to malfunction, call for service; do not attempt to repair <br /> the sterilizer yourself. <br /> Do not force door handle at any time. Chamber pressure may cause <br /> door to open with extreme force. If the door handle does not move <br /> freely, allow unit to cool and depressurize for 40 minutes before open- <br /> Operation ing door. Failure to adhere could result in serious personal injury or <br /> death. <br /> EQUIPMENT ALERT <br /> ODo not use toweling or packaging which may contain chlorine <br /> o bleach residue. Doing so could result in trays and/or chamber <br /> rusting or discoloring. In extreme cases, the life of the chamber may be sig- <br /> nificantly shortened. <br /> NOTE <br /> Use sterility monitors with each sterilization load. Also, if a sterilizing cycle is <br /> terminated prematurely, reprocess the instruments to ensure the sterility of <br /> the load. <br /> Refer to the following steps for a detailed description of the program operating <br /> procedures: <br />
