Forward Compost Facility Stormwater Improvements <br />02778 1 HDPE GEOMEMBRANE <br />SECTION 02778 <br />HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) GEOMEMBRANE <br /> <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br /> <br />1.1 WORK INCLUDED <br /> A. This section covers the Work necessary to furnish and install 60-mil single-sided textured high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane liner, complete. B. The GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the HDPE geomembrane installation including, but not limited to, submittals, panel layout, seaming, patching, temporary anchorage, temporary slip sheeting, and all necessary and incidental items required to complete the Work in accordance with these Specifications and the Construction Drawings. The EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR will perform excavation and backfilling of anchor trenches and will unload the HDPE geomembrane if the GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR is not onsite. <br /> <br />C. A leak location test will be performed on the primary geomembrane following deployment, seaming, and placement of the safety ladders and gravel logs. The GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for repairing all identified leaks in the geomembrane in accordance with the applicable Specifications sections. <br /> <br /> 1.2 REFERENCES A.
