The responses to your comments <br />below were developed based on our discussion on August 29, 2006 and August <br />31, 2006 and are as follows: <br />1. The vent pipes will be constructed such that the end of each vent pipe <br />will be installed at least 10 feet above the ground surface. <br />2. The top of the vent pipe will either be constructed with slotted or <br />drilled piping with an end plug. <br />3. A site health and safety plan is being developed and after it has been <br />completed, it will be transmitted to you prior to the construction <br />activities. <br />4. I understand that the basis for this comment is to prevent any type of <br />vehicular traffic over the passive soil vapor extraction trench after its <br />installation to minimize the potential for settlement caused by vehicles <br />4 <br />
