< Job Order Trip Field
2590733-1-3
Jones Covey Group, Inc.
9595 Lucas Ranch Rd. PendingRevlew
Rancho Cucamonga,CA 91730
888-972-7581
Job Details
Description:
............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
2/13/25 CC: Arrived on site and checked in with site manager to go over the scope of work. Barricaded
around L10 diesel transition sump located in front of D19. Opened sump and removed leaking flex
connector on the diesel out line that feeds D19/20 and RV lanes. Replaced with a new 2" x 18"
EZfemale x male flex connector. Opened the ball valves, purged the line and inspected for leaks. No
leaks were present, so we opened the lanes back up. Repair is complete, but will need to return for final
permit testing.
02/26/25: 2/25/25 - SM
02/27/25: MK 2/27/25: Upon arrival checked into site with manager and on the site tablet. Found the
L10 Alarm had cleared after the pipefitters had fixed the leak in the bio shed. Barricaded the bio shed
and verified all ball valves were in the correct position and there were no visible leaks in the bio shed.
Informed the site of the repairs made and closed the job out. No further issues found.
03/05/25: 2/25/25 - SM 2/25
While working on bio pump replacement we found the 3 in flex on the incoming diesel line leaking and
both flex lines on the blender manifold were weeping. Reached out to my office and Shah and informed
them this would need to be addressed immediately as it would eventually cause the shutdown of the
site. After getting approval our office was able to source out parts and schedule two pipefitters to come
to make the repair. Once they arrived, we shut down the site where I locked out the brakers for the
diesel turbines. After draining the line, they were able to remove the bad flex and replaced it with a new
one. After cleaning up all spilled fuel and disposing off all hazardous materials into site barrels I went
ahead and powered the turbines back on. We then opened the incoming ball valve and checked for
leaks with we opened the bypass valve to get site back up and running. After monitoring for awhile we
could see the flex lines on blender manifold were still dripping even though ball valve handles are in the
closed position. We left them closed and would return tomorrow to replace. Return trip required.
03/05/25:
Had an emergency dispatch found that the site was in slow flow. We accessed the bioshed and found
the ball valves were not holding back sufficient product and causing the leak detector to trip, had no
option but to shut the site down. We contacted my office and were able to source new ball valves which
we picked up and installed. Once installed we tested and verified that they held the product back. With
everything checking OK we opened the site back up. The pipefitters then went to pick up fittings and
materials to replace flex lines on the blender manifold. Once they returned they piped in a new flex on
system 2 but were unable to get the flex on system 1 put together because of an obstruction in the way
oof new flex line length. They will be returning tomorrow with the proper size nipple to get it plumbed in
and get bio-system back up and running. Return trip rquired.
